First time making this low carb maple pumpkin porridge and it definitely won't be the last! This recipe is a great substitution if you are on a low carb diet.
Use the Festive Edition Spice Blend for this one to get that deep earthy flavour. You can, as always, use the original Pumpkin Spice blend too.
Ingredients:
2 tbsps of milled flaxseed
2 tbsps of coconut flour
2 tbsps of chia seeds
2 tbsps of cream
1 cup coconut or almond milk
1/2 tsp Artisan Festive Edition Spice Blend
Maple Syrup or sweetener of your choice
Method:
In a small saucepan put 2 tablespoons of milled flaxseed, 2 tablespoons of coconut flour and 2 tablespoons of chia seeds.
Mix in 2 tablespoons of cream and 1 cup of coconut or almond milk. Add half a teaspoon of Artisan Festive Edition Spice Blend and maple syrup or sweetener of your choice. Keep stirring for 5 to 10 minutes.
